fun and chessy
heres all it is:
a scan of tape, (take tape stripes cross over the other, cover both sides, so you dont have a sticky one, and chose one side to rub with charcoal and scan)
layer 1 scan of tape
layer 2 scan of a bad photo, thats the camera was opened and the film exposed to sun
layer 3 skull, transformed in photoshop, render- 3d effects
copy and shrink, or fit to look you want
layer 4, blending with rubber stamp tool

Interesting technique - tells me not to throw anything out - and anything goes if the final result looks good.
