I cant stop trying Grand dad. He is addicting. I found an article in PC Photo and had to try it. It is a process using the aArt HIstory brush to remove spots and cracks. I think of all the ones I have done it look the most like him. It maintained the lighting textures that were there. Oh well see if you like this one. BY the way it let me use all of him no ear cloning. the only thing I did was to rebuild the right eye.

You did a nice job on a very difficult image. I think his eyes look a bit strange to me. Too bright maybe. Also, he seems to have lost some of his facial lines in the restoration process but as I said, this was a very very difficult one so don't get discouraged. I still think you did a good job. Hey, the more you try him the better you get.
Did you check out the Quick De-cracking tutorial and action on this web site? It might really help this picture and I've used it many times with excellent results.
