copied background and set second layer to mulitpy.flatened picture.cloned writing away and repaired a section of the wall created several copies of that section of wall and repositioned to repair the wall. copied boys right eye (his right eye)and fliped horizontally and moved to clean up left eye.used paint brush set to colour and different shades of gray to bring out the shoes and stockings.

Very nice work (y) the only thing I noticed is a little bit of clone tracking at the bottom left corner, but besides that you did a great job of cleaning this up!

This restoration really appeals to me - it still retains that authentic edge - film grain is still present and the image as a whole doesn't look obviously manipulated. Other than the clone tracking already mentioned, the photo is a little too contrasty, which has overly highlighted the baby, losing some detail. The boy on the right has two indentical dots on his forhead - clear signs of a cut and paste or clone job. I would have cloned over these to make this less obvious.
Other than these minor criticisms, very nice work!
