Really well done Flora. Her hair stayed beautiful. That was my hardest point.

Do you ever produce a turkey Flora?
Once again great retouch and a great eye for details. Shadows and tone are lovely and you made a great job of the hair. I toyed with the idea of a vignette too but it didn't look right, however you have pulled it off a treat lovely gradiation

excellent! I'm sure it's not quite as easy as you make it sound, too.
I'll have to go look for my black channel now.

Well My two cents says it fantastic. I dont think anyone can get it better. Wow. I would like to know your secret. It looks like her, the shading is great, I cant find one thing you could change to make it any better.

Great work. As usual I am learning so much from reading how others approach various photos. Question for you Flora about step 2. Try as I might I can't figure out how to copy and paste the black CMYK channel to a duplicate copy of the photo after I select it. My edit button for copying is greyed out. So how do you do this magic??? I use PS6. Thanks for helping me with the nitty gritty detail. JR

Hi Wanda!
Thank you very much for your kind words which I could "quote" and use back for your Lori...I just looked at it and it's beautiful...like all your work!!!
Hi Cinderella!
Thank you so much for your great comment, and sorry about the delay in answering...
To answer your question about step 2, what I did was:
1) Duplicated the Image (Document).
2) Changed the dupe to CYAN.
3) Highlighted the Black Channel.
4) Selected all (Ctrl+A).
5) Copied it (Ctrl+C).
6) Went back to the first image (RGB).
7) Pasted the copied Black Channel on it..(Ctrl+V)....
I hope it's not too late...
