Hi Everyone
I said in my first first restoration, that I was thinking of doing a coloured Retouch, well here it is. First thought of doing her as a 'Southern Belle outside Tara' but because of her bone structure lent more to this one.
Where does the name Lori come from, that first word reads to me as 'Love', followed by Patice or Datice?!.
Well any takers anyone on a Retouch Re-incarnation challenge, I throw down the Gauntlet??!!!

What a fascinating take on this challenge Nick. Very creative and realistic. If she was that beautiful, it's no wonder the monument was commisioned.

Hi Nick!
...see?...this is something you have and I don't.....imagination and creativity....give me restorations or retouchings any time...but when it comes to create....well..I usually pass.... :d ...

Splendid overall interpretation.....but what really got me is the smile....

Nice job, but it brings to mind the old question that keeps going around....is this a restoration?

Hi! Ken
Read my intro, stated there that this would be a RE-TOUCH not a Restore.

Sorry Nick, but to my way of thinking this goes way beyond a retouch, it's virtually a completly new image.

Ken I beg to differ, but then how does the old adage go about 'pleasing people'

From the Oxford Paperback Dictionary and Thesaurus

retouch
/ri:"tt/ verb improve (esp. photograph) by minor alterations.

I think the keyword here is "MINOR".
Anyways Nick I didn't mean to put you in a snit, my comment was my honest oppinion, nothing more or nothing less.
