When I first saw the brick wall for this challenge I immediately pictured an old fashioned jail cell with a window and bars. After imagining the jail cell, it didn't take long to think of the perfect resident.
1) Using Photoshop 7, I duplicated the background layer three times (and hid the original) because I needed extra wall parts to work with.
2) On the top level wall layer I used the Rectangular Marquee Tool and SelectTransform Selection to position and delete part of the wall (for my window). On the next lower level I used the EditFree Transform to resize and position the "Back Wall" so the bricks looked smaller (and farther away).
3) I used the third wall layer to cut strips, one for the left sill and one for the top sill of the window. On these strips I used EditTransformSkew to add prospective to the window.
4) Below the back wall I created a new layer and filled it with solid black.
5) Returning to the "Back Wall" layer, I lowered the opacity to 78% and added light using FilterRenderLighting Effects.
6) One bar was created using a custom Gradient Fill, Noise, light Gaussian Blur and the Burn Tool on each end of the bar. This bar was duplicated three times and then the bars were positioned.
7) An image of America's "Most Wanted" was then sandwiched between the "Back Wall" and the foreground. Because he hasn't been captured "yet" I reduced the opacity of the image to add a translucent quality.
8) A chiseled text effect was added to the foreground wall.
9) Finally all images were merged, resized as required and saved.
A great challenge Doug.
Ron.

Well done Ron. I'm not sure if the bars are supposed to be real or painted. If they are "real" then it would be awesome if they threw some shadows onto the Osama painting. That would add even more depth to the image.

Very creative doing it in 3D. I especially like the way the word WANTED is chiseled into the wall.

Thanks for the critique Roy. Shadows from the bars would have added a lot more realism to the picture. It wouldn't have been hard to do, just didn't think of it.
Phyllis, I didn't know how to get that effect so I searched the web for a tutorial and implemented the technique. There are thousands of tutorials on the web and I rely on them a lot.
