Thanks for your comments and welcome. You're a lone voice!;-) I use Photoshop, basically flipped the photo on it's side, stacked them up and a bit of history brush to give the effect of the water falling on the mats, bit of tidying up and that's it.

This is very neat! Just to set the record straight, Wanda is NOT a lone voice - she's one of a number of your fans, Frank.

Your vision is often different and creative, and your eye for composition and detail is true.

Thanks! I didn't mean it like that! ;-(
It was my first entry in this section of Retouchpro and I received a nice welcome from Wanda, but despite over 200 viewings, hers was a lone welcome. ;-) I wasn't seeking a pat on the back, probably I was spoilt by the welcome I received in your other group a couple of months back. It's not as if it's a busy time of the year!!! ;-)
Many thanks anyway for your comments.
Frank

Hey Frank,
Very nice effect. I agree with Wanda, a description would be nice.

I agree with Wanda, a description would be nice.
Where did she say that? ;-) Am I missing something. I did give some details in my reply to Wanda, I'm certainly no exper,t but if there is any detail anyone is not sure of, please ask. Being new here, perhaps I should read more of the older posts to see how it should be done. ;-)
Thanks
Frank

Exceptional!! Immense visual punch. Is very very likely I will steal this concept LOL :teeth:
I guess if the faint shadow for the plates was a hint more darker it would have added to the 3-dimensional effect. That and a bit more perspective tweak would have had the plates literally come out of the page, almost like making you reach out to pick one up. But again thats just an idea...I'm no expert on this stuff. Omeyas... you just became one of my favorites :teeth: Looking forward to seeing more of your work.
