Nothing too fancy on this one. Using PS7 and an Aiptek graphic tablet, I extracted the driller from the background. Found an image of an apron online, cloned out distracting image and added "kiss the cook" text. Using the liquify tool, I warped the text to make it look more natural.

Superimposed Jim Bob onto a picture of cows, then duplicated him, dropped the contrast and the brightness on his layer and distoted and blurred until I got the shadow right.

Added the (hopefully) witty text and I was done!

Very nice! Cute idea. The apron fits great, and the tongs are the perfect item to place in his hands. Well done.

I live about an hour and half north of Tulsa, so have seen The Driller in person many times. Another city east of Tulsa has a steak house called Jim Bob's, so I thought this was very appropriate.
