Again keeping with my theme of originality, and photo integrity I just used what info I had to work with. I really wanted to get the boys expression to come through. And when he finally did come through he looks like a little brat. I used only image corrections. Not brushes or cloneing. I wanted to keep this very original to the actual people it portrays.

I admire your concern about keeping in line with the original. Makes things a lot more difficult, but the result is still a representation of the actual people in the photo. I too would like to know what you did to achieve the results you were able to without cloning and such. Great job with very little to go on!
