This is a much improved version of one I previously posted. Nothing special in the method, just a lot of burning, dodging, and cloning. To soften the splotches on the face I copied the main layer, applied a gaussian blur of 1.5, and blended the layers at 35% (normal). I then erased the eyes, hair, background, lips, and nose from the GB'd layer so they were not softened.

Every time I look at the file I want to fix a thing, or two, or three......hopefully I can now leave it alone, even if I am not really happy yet with the lips!!

Thanks for the previous criticisms, they really helped me focus in on the problem areas.

Chuck

I like what you did with the skin tone, keeping the shadows/details. Also admire your skill with the burn/dodge tools. Can I borrow her cheek?!

After seing your both submissions I feel one thing, you stopped it in half a way. You can re - work on there with Healing brush 40 -60 size, anchoring near the work area and drag between the patches remains. this proces will help you to reduce the patches.
Rest I found is very Interesting.
