1st made duplicate layer
then did adjustment layer w/curves---added saturation-lightened highlights and darkened shadows a little
adjustment layer of levels--darkened the mid tones a little
then I loaded rgb channel as selection, selected inverse and did an unsharp mask at about 4 tolerance and 102%

I'm an avid user of adjustment layers. They have saved me alot of backtrack work many of times. Great job on this image. Nice and clear.
