The first thing I did was copy both the left and right sides of the photo onto a seperate layer of their own and moved them togather until the seam in the middle was mostly gone. From there it was just a matter of cloning and healing. After the image was restored I converted to greyscale and then back to RGB to apply a sepia tone. Resized and saved.

Great idea about left and right layers, it work you cant tell. Very nice job

Good job... a little blurry, maybe needs more contrast... but great job doctoring the whole thing up.

I like the haze on this -- you have the detail with the look of an old picture. Love the idea of putting the two sides together!
