Jill, Very good land scape. The vegetation you transplanted is perfect and balancing. Arrangements in the court yard also fine. and the colour scheme for the house is also fine.
But, I think the light pattern of your adition is in wrong direction.

Jill,

Fantastic job on the landscape challenge! It is very balanced and inviting now. And the shade will come in handy as it bakes down there in the late afternoon. The new house color is interesting, but I kind of like it. It’s actually soothing, but I think my husband might be shocked if he came home to a mauve house. Is that Martha Stewart sitting back there? If so, you might have to change her overalls to bright orange (grin). Just flip her shadow to the left and you will be in there! Great work!

Now T --- That is a one of a kind MS life size piece of lawn art. You can buy additioanl outfits at WM ! LOL

Thanks for your comments - lighting and shadows are my downfall -- I just have no eye for it what so ever. --- my own shadow never goes the right way!

I enjoyed doing this challenge - it was a blast putting different things in the yard.

Jill nice job I like the shrub has a happy face...Or is it laughing at Martha? I like you caught the reflection of the umbrella in the windows. Very good eye for detail (except MS shadow but then maybe it wants to get away from her).

LOL twice or more. Martha is killing me. The shadow is dark, but appropriate for Martha's dark days ahead. Very cool and funny stuff here. The smiling bush is also a neat addition in my book.

No it has a mural of an ocean with a sun set. I got a sunset image laid it on the wall lower the opacity so the seems would show some. You could tell what it was till I put that patio furniture in! --- LOL
All I kept saying was what would Martha do ????????

as a contributor to this contest, adding shrubs and trees is very difficult and you pulled it off great! I'm not digging the house color with the door color but I'm a guy, what do I know? heh. Great job and I think the Martha in bright orange would be great!
