Photo Manipulation 33:

Every house should come with one of these bad boys!

Took the picture of the car. The tree was there but it wasn't full enough and didn't fit into the space provided so i made it thicker by copy/pasting and then skewing and distorting. Taking out the background of all those leaves were fun. I loaded the blue channel to highlight the white background it had and then magic wand selected the dark area (leaves) with a relatively high tolerance, then selected inverse. That deleted most of the white. I took out the hummingbird feeder, it didn't fit going through the hood. The wall is a simply ivy pattern found in some stock pictures. The mulch was taken from a distributor site. distorted to create mounding and direction. the blurred edges were sharpend out then blended into the landscape. The lillies on the side were fun to add. Shadows added and here it is!

Hope you like

Wow a landscaper that adds a car and a convertible Mercedes at that. You’re hired!!! Ironically this area was a third garage space that I am in the process of converting to a finished basement. You did an excellent job incorporating the car as it looks like it was part of the original photo. Nicely done. I also like the ivy and new flower bed. The tree has a bit of a dark fringe around the top and the mulch is a bit blurred though…tell tell signs that it wasn’t originally there. Still a great job!

The tree needs some work. I just got tired of messing with it

I would have taken it out if I could have but it was in the original. dern.

Thanks for the complements, i want that car too! It was parked at my neighbors house a few nights ago and i grabbed my camera to take a few shots.

yes it's a very good job, i'd really believe this car was an original part of the picture...i have to agree with the others about the tree though, and the mulch a little too, they both give away the pic was retouched but other than that its'a fantastic job...keep up the good work!

Just because you like it doesn't mean everyone else will; and just because everyone else likes it doesn't mean you should.
