This one took a while - about 8 hours all up!. I didn't really make any adjustments to colour or contrast or anything.
Extensive use of the healing brush to get rid of the cracks. (Has anyone else noticed that the healing brush has a bad habit of leaving artifacts?)
Clone tool to reproduce the ear (damn, ears are tricky!) and fill in the missing background.
Copied the hair from the right hand side of the head to the area that was missing and transformed it to get it looking right.
Sharpen tool on the facial features.
Blur tool to soften the harsh transitions.
Added monochromatic noise to get the grain back after all the cloning and healing.
I'm reasonably happy with the result, although, I think that the top of the hair still looks a bit blurry and my ear is a bit dodgy I kept fooling about with the hair to try and get it looking right, but in the end, only made it worse.
Cheers
Tony

Awesome job!!! Got to be one of the best I've seen. This was such a tough one to tackle.
