Nice job, the selective focus really brings out the baby.I like the desaturated bg too.

I like your retouch here marika,
You've really made the baby's face the focal point.
I like your facial skin toning and the hands are great.
I also like the font you chose for the baby’s name. It was a nice touch.
The only hopefully helpful suggestion I can make is that the baby's arms seem blown out to pure white. I also had a hard time with blown out areas.
