Here's my attempt at the Cello-nightmare. Yikes, I spent 4.5 hours on this. I used a combination of levels, clone stamp, dodge and burn and finally duotone to give that "antique" look. My hats off to anyone who worked on the "third" man!
Also I worked in RGB for 95% of it. You can see the cello imperfections much easier that way!

A good clean restore.
A great second man, damn site better than my effort.
A neat idea to turn the small shutter window into a doorway.
I think you have done well to maintain the period look of the photo.

Great work. The car and the man on it are very clear. The man at the door is also well done. Yet the right arm look a bit high at the hand level,

Thanks Mary..Yeah it's quite difficult to make body parts up when you can't see them very well. I think maybe "stealing" body parts from other photographs would be the neat thing to do?
