Adjusted Hue/Sat for a greenish tone

Copied BG layer, ran paint engine on Arctic. Set to Multiply

Duplicated BG layer and ran DCSpecial edger @ 255/68. Set to Luminosity

Duplicated edger layer and ran Paint Engine on Bad Brush. Faded 50% and set to Luminosity

Flattened & adjusted levels

Duplicated new BG layer, ran spatter brush and set blending mode to Darken

Flattened.

Duplicated BG layer and added more directional light from the right. Added a layer mask with a gradient, and darkened the underlying BG layer to make the left side a bit darker and did some selective dodging to the right side of her body.

Made a new layer, filled with 50% gray, added sandstone texture and ran Graphic Pen filter. Displaced using a coarse weave as the map. Faded displace to 75%. Set layer to 25% opacity on Soft Light blending mode.

Flattened. Duplicated BG layer and ran gaussian blur @ 1 pixel. Set to Darken blending mode and 50% opacity.

Jak,
I think you did a great job making this resemble a Mary Cassatt painting. I have to admit I was not familiar with Cassatt's painting style until I examined it but you seem to have copied it very well especially in the color scheme and brush strokes.

A bit dark, but an excellent hand-drawn quality. Leaving the torn edges gives an antique look.

VERY NICE interpretation, Jak. Really like the sketchiness.

Really nice!

I see you went for the "drawn" end of the
spectrum. There were so many different types
of styles to look at in the examples.

I think you did a beautiful job of capturing the
Cassatt feel.
