Hi!

This was really great challenge.

On the beginning i desaturated this photo,
next i focused on Henriettas face. I decided that
this is most important part of this photo so it should be
restored and retouched really carefuly. I've studied facecs
from modern photos to get the best palette of colors to use.

Then i restored chair details on the left side. Next i've copied
the upper left part and pasted it on right side of the chair.

Added colors by using separate layers for each major object,
using the color blending mode, and painting in the color.

Using Overlay blending mode and texture I've got quite natural
look of her dress and jacket.

If you have any quastion, i'll anserw you.

Sorry for my poor english

Very nice work. The light behind the chair was a nice touch.

Superb Conrad,

The red seat and chair restoration is just great.
And your work on the carpet is as good as it gets.
I especially like the way you've done Henrietta's white top.
