Took a picture of embroidery I had done, desat and used that as the pattern. A lot of pasting layers free tranform blend mode linear burn at around 65% fill.

This is beautiful! I think that using the actual embroidery as a texture makes a real difference.

Looks like a lovely satin stitch. Agree with themanda - want to reach out and touch it. Great idea to use a desatted picture as a texture.
