I can't even remember the last time I've done a challange.....A lot of clean up in this one! I should have gone farther with the clean up, but I just got tired of working on that. Anyway, I used the clone tool, the healing brush, and the patch tool, on different areas. I used the clone tool on delicate areas such as the eyes because I felt I had more controll over the results. I ran this through Neat Image, and added this layer, adjusting the opacity so most of the original came through. I lowered the contrast (as I think these look better with less) and then I colored it.

Great eyes, mouth, and hair (especially the eyes). Coloring is really good too. And she still looks like Dot!

Thanks Doug! I'm happy you noticed the eyes, as I really wanted to bring some life/light into them.

Well Vikki

Best by far. The whole work is so natural. In fact, you've inspired me to try yet again, especially the eyes. Top drawer!!

Cheers

Beautiful! The colors remind me of the old photos my grandma has. To me it makes it that more natural. Great job!

This is really lovely, especially with the colorization. I too must complement you on the eyes!
