Simplified colours, mostly with Smart blur, made lots of different layers with texture applied at different angles, extracted outline to a separate layer and played with blending style to make it look like the gap between blocks of stitching.

The different angles on each petal, all pointing towards the center of the individual blossom is an excellent touch.

It could have been a photo from a real stitched canvas! Well done!
Perhaps a little embossing effect might make it more 3 D. It might make it too much too
