I used a combination of different techniques to restore the original (or at least what I thought could be the original) colors:
lightend some parts
exchanged the color (especially of the shirt)
varied hue/saturation and the color-balance
did some cloning and used maskes for the different parts of the picture

The skin tones look great. It's so hard to make natural looking tones. It looks like you used several different shades to make it look more natural.
