First off. I cheated. I started with a base layer with an extreme noise/median effect. The rest is all airbrushed with a bit of smudge. Hair added and modified with Liquify. More suitable background selected. Blouse color change to match eyes.

That looks terrific Sarah! Let me know when the book comes out. Perhaps I can get you to sign the inside cover!

Cheers

Gorgeous. I can't help but wonder if this young woman is going to get a chance to see this. She'd be stunned, I'd bet. You did a simply beatiful job!

::practicing name signing:: LOL!
You guys are too kind. I love this forum, no "nasties". They have manipulation challenges on Graphics.com, but it is rather bias. There is an actual "prize" and somehow cheating goes on. This place is SO much better and more challenges to do. I occasionally have major down time at work and its nice to feel I can work on my skills and in the meanwhile get inspired by the great people in this forum. As for the girl in the photo, she is beautiful to begin with so it doesn't take much to make a beautiful manipulation

Very professional looking. Somehow when I thought of airbrushed, the image of cartoon came into mind. This looks like it belongs in a high-fashion magazine, which is, DUH, airbrushed. Banging head against monitor to restore brain cells....Janet

Simply amazing. I do hope this photo gets back to the original person. One of the most professional jobs I've seen on this site.

This is so well done, lovely, soft, appealing! Her eyes are striking but not bold.

I love what you've done with the hair. Bulking it up in the back that way makes her look even more lush and "romancy". Your work on the eyes and mouth are fantastic. Great new teeth and eyelashes.
