This photo has be restored using Photoshop 5.5.

I started by cutting the main photo out and copying
it onto a clean layer so a clean boarder could be
produced.

After adjusting the tonal values I set about cloning
and repairing mould spots and missing pieces.

I chose not to remove the crazing that runs horizontally
across the photo as I felt the old look to a large extent
should be maintained.

I also adjusted some of the dress tones to blend them more.

I finished off with a light sepia tone to keep the old look.

A little noisy, but not objectionable. Overall tones very good.

I like your adjustments to the tones - photo has good presence. The diagonal shadowing in her forehead is a little distracting and her right eye needs a touch of definition. I share your thoughts about preserving the "old look".

Excellent tones and I also like your thought process in keeping with the original look. Very well done Katie.

Katie, you did a great job You achieved exactly what you were going after! That's an accomplishment in itself. You managed to keep the old feel, and I appreciate that. VERY well done

Hi! Katie
A very nice job, I like it. The shading on her forehead could have done with some graduation, but all in all I like the effect.
