Hi Flora,
You did a nice job on this one, with a fft filter you can rid of the last of the moire pattern.

Hi Mogens!
Thank you very much for your kind words!
I have one question: what is a "fft filter"...?
Does it work with PS6 or 7...?

Interesting effect here - almost like a black & white poster. Good work on the face and getting rid of that variable gray haze over the entire photo.
The remaining moire would be difficult to get rid of here because your contrast is very high. Its not that intrusive though and is perhaps noticeable only because we are looking for it.

Hi Flora,
Nice job overall. I think it looks like an old movie poster. Contrast might be a little high, but overall a real improvement. Good job.

Good job overall on tones and repair. Still some vertical lines, and a bit dark.
Excellent description.

Flora,
Very nice job. I haven't tried this one but I suspect getting rid of those lines are a real pain. You did very well with it.

Flora, nice job. The only thing I would say
is the background is looking a little dark.
Getting rid of those lines looks difficult.
I am looking at this one with trepidation.

Hi Katie!
Thank you very much for your kind comment!
After trying, unsuccessfully, to eliminate the 'lines'..I tried, unsuccessfully, to cover them up.....

I think you've done a great job of keeping Benny's appearance unchanged while making it better. Some of the restorations change the way he looks too much.
I'd agree that the contrast is too high -- the result is that the eyes have receeded into the shadows. Perhaps you could pick up a bit of a lighter, earlier version, or maybe even dodge the eyes a bit to bring them out.
Great Job!
