I restored this in about 4 hours, using a lot of heal and clone. I found that I need to do all of the touch up before looking at curves, levels or adjustment layers. (It made the job easier for me) A lot of the time, I had to windows of this image open. One showing the composite and one showing the individual layers where I was doing the touch ups.

Good work on a difficult restoration. It looks as if there was no damage.

Here face was ackward and you've made it more natural looking.

Wow...your first submission? I'm impressed. I did this one FOUR times before I got one I was happy with....I spent a lot more that 4 hours on them, too! LOL! The skin looks great...a bit dark to my eye (or monitor!) But this a really good restoration IMHO!
