I used a sky I had photographed last Monday when I went strawberry picking with my family. I used Photoshop CS to place my blue sky on a layer above the ship mast and then tried different blending modes deciding that Multiply worked best for me. I then did a Highlights and Shadows Adjustment and some application of the Unsharp Mask. The sky was so pretty that day!
This is my first try at Retouch Pro and hope it is as it should be.
Hi Johanna, well done I think. Funny that I thought about doing that one too but decided to use the pirate ship in the end. Yes, tis a very nice sky. However, it's good to see that not only I was fighting with the riggings. There are some missing and I think one even stops midway... Interesting that the multiply mode seems to give the sky a yellow touch at some spots in the lower part of the picture. Nonetheless a great job!
