Used the Liquify filter on the face and cloned some dark skin areas, artistic brush and blur on the background.

Great job on the face. I personally find the background a bit distracting with the jaggedness of the edges, but that’s just my opinion. I love the mouth. Excellent job blending the manipulated areas. Very nice indeed!

Thank you, bigheadjed,

I was concentrating so much on the face, I just wanted the background to go away. lol.

I'm new at this, I'm learning and testing my skill level with each challenge I attempt.

I agree, a new background would have been better. It's good advice that I'll use in the future.

I looked at this one for a while before I attempted it, I didn't think I could do anything with it.

I found out that patience was the skill most necessary for this manipulation.
