1) Level adjustment in RGB mode
2) Switched over to CMYK mode
3) Darkened the shadows in the black channel using curves
4) Outlined Mom w/Pen tool
5) Made 2 masks to fix fading problem (in the background) in the cyan and the yellow channels
6) History brushed in curve adjustments to the cyan and yellow channels separately
7) Adjusted contrast of each channel separately in curves
8) History brushed out in a curve adjustment some of that unwanted yellow
9) History brushed in a curve adjustment to the highlights and midtones some magenta back into the flesh tone
10) History brushed out in a curve adjustment the magenta cast and added some cyan
11) Whitened teeth and whites of the eyes using history brush and a pre loaded curve
12) Saturated the reds
13) Saturated the greens
14) Slightly blurred the background
15) History brushed a unsharp mask to her face arms and red parts of shirt
16) History brushed a gaussain blur to her flesh to soften at different degrees of opacity

Hi Tantoni, great description of your method, clear and easy to follow. Your image has been generally well done, I like the jersey particularly. There are just a couple of minor areas for improvement.
Firstly the girl's face has a slightly orange tone to it and is possibly a little dark, and secondly the tone of the vegetation varies from left to right.

Thank you GR. Because I usually see my images printed on newsprint I often feel I need to overdue my adjustments in the fleshtones. I find that this mixure of M Y looks good on newsprint. Maybe minis some more yellow in the highlights. As far as the tone of the vegetation, I didn't even notice until you said something. But now I see it clearly in the thumbnail image.
