"This is my great-great grandmother. It is the only picture I have of her. I'd like to prepare a 4-generation composite for my mother before she passes away. She looks enough like her grandmother and great grandmother for all three to have been the same person. Please help me restore this fine lady who died in childbirth many years ago. Thank you."

Since this was posted in 2004, I have learned that my ggmother had very curly hair, that the necklace is most likely a cameo on a black ribbon. My mother has the cameo in her collection. The objects in her hair are flowers (daisies, I think). And the date for the photo is approximately 1876-77. I have uploaded an earlier photo of her in the archives section of this site. It is titled under her name: "Elizabeth Emily (Wells) Wilkinson
Thank you all for participating. I hope that this challenge is helping with your skills as it is mine.
