Press "Q" in PS 7 to enter Quick Mask mode.
Using Brush tool paint over the area that I want to select. (selected everything on the left of the RED cross.)
Press "Q" again to exit Quick Mask mode.
Press "Ctrl Shift I" simultaneously to inverse the selection.
Press "Ctrl J" to do a copy via layer.
Use the Move tool to move the copied image into position.
Carefully touch up the copy image to blend into the original using layer mask and a soft brush tool.
Crop the picture.
Tada outcome the final result you see.
