1. Level correction
2. NeatImage
3. duplicate layer
4. dust & scratches 4px wide
5. remove eyes, mouth and the uniform knobs from the dust&scratches layer using the eraser
6. merge layers
7. cloning with repair tool
8. copied good over bad eye (Iris only)
9. re-applyed color balance

after getting the well-deserved comments, tried to improve the picture and replaced old submission with the new one.

Hi Marc ,nice job with clean up,but.....I can see shortcomings around eye and mouth.....I like the color balance.

Hi Marc...nice job getting smooth skin, especially on the left side! The color tones are great, too. In addition to the eye and mouth that Steve mentioned, I can see some problems with the ear on the right side as it looks "out of whack" somewhat. Nice job overall.

Sure, so you may have missed the mishaped face on the original, but I like what you have done to the skin. Good effort.

Thank you all for your comments... agreed, the are some shortcomings. And every time I tried to cover them, it got worse. Should try it again, me thinks.
