Decided to try at this one but that was very difficult to find any idea after so many versions of yours.

Nice job! I really like the color and the new background. It really gives the photo some presence and weight. I like it!

A really fine job Steve, quite impressive. A description of how you did this would be useful ;-)

As expected, a new and successful take. Crisp edges, great texture, and the coloring and dark tones work very nicely.

Thanks very much to everyone.
Timbo,that's mine description:
copy background and clean up
mix channel with monochrome
cut out backgroud and new layer
add clouds and noise filter then gaussian blur
CMYK and some color
back to RGB and sepia layer
hide all and clean up the face area

Fine work Steve,

I like this darker version and think the jacket looks great.
I agree with you. It's difficult to come up with new ideas
when so many other members have done this before you.
It's always good to see different approaches and yours is great.

Matt

Steve- outstanding job. The darker background with the texture really brings out the picture

I like the darker overall tone very much. You've retained the original texture to the jacket and also colourised it well. You didn't go to extremes either on his face. Terrific work Steve.
