Remember the Beatles?
I took this sunset just as the plane took off from the Dallas Airport. It is a little fuzzy; but the colors were gorgeous, so I kept it. Now I have a use for it.
Found a diamond on the internet. Colorized it to match the color of the sunset. Smudged and blurred the halo around it.
Copied the background layer of clouds and moved it to the top and erased with different opacities where I wanted the diamond to show through.
Voila. Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds...errr...a diamond.

nice image, Janet! I especially enjoy the 'rays' coming out from the diamond, and the way you mirrored the sky colors. It would be fun to see this image repeated as stars in the night sky, too. Oh, and thanks for sticking that song in my head now LOL!
