Where was that helping hand when my my vehicle broke down on the road? You really put alot of extra effort in this image to the point of going out and photographing images you wanted to create this effect and the end product shows your hard work. Truly a work of manipulation art Sharon. Well done.

I think A LOT of people would love to see that helping hand this summer in Tennessee. Hot weather seems to be taking its toll on vehicles.
Keep thinking how this would be a WONDERFUL ad for a service dept. with roadside assistance.
Great image & your usual nice work, Sharon!!

DJ and Farron thanks for the comments.
Farron, your comment about the ad, reminds me of one Linda's lessons.
I am sure going to miss her classes.

Great job Sharon...all you need is the face of some surprised person sticking out of the window! The only part that looks a little rough is below the bridge and sign.

Greg,
Thanks so much for your comments.
A surprised person hanging out the window is a great idea!

Perhaps lower the opacity in the shadow under the truck just a tad. Overall great composition though! If you added the surprised person hanging out the window it would definitely get some laughs. Well done!

No kidding about missing those lessons, Sharon. And I want that photo retouch ebook that was never finished! [sniff, sniff]
I just posted something totally odd in this challenge. It may give you a giggle as it will be a deja vu...shades of the Addict's class. [wink]

Great work, Sharon.
It would make an excellent ad for anything car-related.
Farron, I just saw yours and am ROTFL.
I've got the hand cut out, but can't think of anything to put in it

Paul, thanks for the suggestion on the car shadow.
Lorraine, I know you'll come up with something really unique on your hand.
Farron, I want the e-book too. A photo of my 90-year old mother-in-law was supposed to be included.

A neat concept Sharon, it looks great. I agree with T Paul about the shadow, but still it is all in the eyes of the beholder.
I look forward to seeing more of your submissions Sharon as to date I am quite impressed. You are an inspiration (as are others here).

Great concept, great exectuion! The truck rests perfectly in the hand. Nice attention to detail...you even put in shadows. I would have lowered the opacity on them just a touch however to let some background show through.

The truck looks like it belongs in the hand. The shadows under the hand are great.

I gave some others 5 but yours stands by itself. You did a unbelivable job with the blending of differnet elements. All I can say is wow!
