Mainly used the Clone Stamp Tool and the Healing Brush, being carefull to enclose a selection around the edges to prevent light "spillage" when healing on dark/light borders. I decided to give her a hair transplant hence the full tail followed by rhinoplasty, a nose job to you & me. I had to clone these bits from other horse pictures and then use curves and levels and colour balance so they matched, using layer masks to fine tune blending. I tried to give her a regal smile of contentment. Used extract and history to cut her out and curves to match into picture. I've done two versions and I'm thinking of sending her to the seaside next [she'll need a vacation after meeting all the other horses!]

You did a mighty job on this and everything in this picture is in perspective. Well done, she looks much happier without her heavy load. This was one project I had to give up on half-way through so I admire your tenacity to complete the job.
