I wanted to see what this photo would look like as a tritone. I follwed the same procedure as before. I split channels and choose the red channel. (I think the first one was the red also)Next came a levels adjustment. I coverted it to greyscale. Next Shift>Ctrl>N Overlay with the 50% gray checked I used the black and white to lighten and darken some areas with a low opacity to dodge and burn. See the lightsright.com for a video turorial on this method of dodging and burning. The tritoning came next with black, and 2 browns. The mat came next by using image>canvas size. I did a 10 px. for the inner part of the mat and 300 px. for the main part. Last was the drop shadown action.

Looks really good. The nice composition of this pic comes through alot better without the colour, and your tritones and matt job make for a nice print rather than a snapshot.

I just love this rendition, color or not! The tritone really highlights the dogs and not the background, in my opinion. The matte draws the eye into the picture, as well! Really nice job!
