Great restoration and coloring Doug,
Like the coloring on the face of the top dog.
Excellent work on the pillow and curtain.
The strong light and shadow between the dogs looks perfect to me.
Best color job I've seen in a long while.

Doug this is spot on (except I think the curtains were blue). Absolutely outstanding work. Simply awsome. Great explanation too.

Very natural color! Every bit of it looks natural. Great explanation, too!

Wonderful job! the only that stands out to me is their noses- they look a bit blurry, probably only because everything else looks so good I was going to submit mine, but after seeing these I think I just changed my mind hee hee.

Thanks Matt, Tim, FrannyMae, Donna and Steve. Matt, my spaniel looks a bit dingy compared to yours - you did wonders with colours and highlighting (especially the ear). Tim, I was racked with guilt after copying yours and Matt's colour scheme, so I tried to cover my tracks with the curtain. Donna, I fiddled with nose highlights and edge sharpening, but the result seemed a bit unnatural - finally resorted to good old neat image as described above which, I think, helps with the nose blur.

Are you sure you didn't go and take the picture? Just kidding!! This is an outstanding job. Even down to the trees in the window. Wonderful job.

heh heh, I love your honesty Doug..............There's nothing wrong with stealing ideas..............is there? When I look again I notice that you really captured the skirting board (right, behind dog) and the different carpet textures perfectly.
