Used gradient maps on skin and hair, sampling an image with similar lighting and tone for the values.
Desaturated the house and split the selection of the background leaves to bring the two different color casts into harmony.
After neutralizing the jersey as much as possible, added an additional curve with yellow pulled way down. Masked out the curve and then manually painted out the remaining yellow stain.

I think the gradient maps worked pretty well, especially for the skin. Can you provide more detail on the gradient map settings? I'd like to learn how to use this tool more effectively.
I also like how you brought out the blue color in the girl's eyes. I thought they were blue when I goofed and was working on the low res. image. Redoing my work on the high res image, I wasn't successful finding the blue. Did you do anything special here?
On the critical side, the gums above the girl's teeth turned out a vivid yellow. It's not too apparent until you view the full size image, however.
