Hmmm...most of his stuff is cooler in colour than this but oh well. I actually prefer mine.

Smart blur then made a pattern out of the painting and used the pattern cloner (set on impressionist) to paint the image onto a new layer. I did this gradually with about a 40% opacity to build it up with paint like brush strokes.

Pumped up the saturation and added some extra texture to the background using grunge brushes in various colours with low opacity.

I especially love the over painting - dry bruch effect that you have stroked under the fruit and across the table top. Very loose and vgery artisticl effect.
