Johnny took the Pumpkin-head project a little too literally, but he no longer found it necessary to look up to Mr. Jones.

- Cut and pasted the pumpkin section image matching proportions
- used the clone tool to replace the exposed floorboards behind
- Found a severed head on google (as you do), trimmed and pasted
- deleted part of head image to allow Johnny's fingers to show through
- added a layer to add some shadow under the head

Excellently creepy. But I'm confused. You FOUND an image of a pumpkin cross-section that matched that well?? Astounding. Only critisizm I could give would be that the head looks a little 2D at the very top. A little softening of the edges and some lighting effects might do the trick. Awesome job!

This is my first post to the forum. I just came across this thread, sorry that my reply was not more timely.

I'm not quite sure how I should approach this message.

Let's just say that it would have been appropriate to ask permission to use part or all of one of my photographs (the pumpkin) in your retouching effort.

I would have granted permission.

I understand that many folk don't even think about whether they should be using other people's images.

As a former professional photographer and book author, I take copyright issues very much to heart.

So I figured I'd use this as a friendly reminder.

Thanks for your ear.

Alan Z.

Don't listen to AlanZ, he's a nasty little hairy man. (very ugly and scary too!)

If anyone is interested; click the link for some amusing photoshop work (I understand AlanZ is the subject as well)

I'll second that!
For God's sake don't upset Der Fuhrer.
He's so smart, he might find a way to ban you from your own forum.
