Thanks for the tips Matt which I acted upon as you'll see. Tried to select colours for wall, floor, chair and curtain that looked reasonable.

After fixing those up, I did have to go back to the drawing board and clone all around those edges after making selections.

With the faces - I worked in increments by using the darken tool over and over. I did darken the bottom of her dress more using the burn tool.

I spent quite some time trying to colour correct this and each time the gaiters and sporran were way to bright so I continued to darken them. Next time I'll be careful not use pure white!

This is by far the best restoration I've done to date, so I'm happy enough to have progressed a bit.

Big improvement over your 1st. The faces, hair and clothing all have much more depth and detail. Your colour adjustments look better as well. Faces look great!

Thank you Doug - colourising was never a strong point so I was pleased to get this far this time! However, in the process of correcting this I lost detail on the kilt you'll notice.
