Desaturated image and fixed rouch spots with the clone and healing tools. Adjusted the shadows in the doorway using curves and a mask.
Used 1 layer for each of the many colors used to colorize this photo. Each layer was then blended, adjusted, etc. to achieve just the right mix I was searching for.
Added folk art and blended it to look faded and worn.
This was certainly fun to work on and tested my skills on several levels. Thanks Doug for offering this to us.
