To fix blue channel I changed to lab color, activated lightness channel, copied it, then back to RGB, activate blue channel and pasted the lightness info there. Then I did a levels adjustment, adjusting the red, blue and green channels separately.
Used Quickmask to put children on their own layer. Added a blur to remove excessive texture then masked and painted back eyes etc. Increased saturation a tad to get the boys jacket less muddy. Selected all faces and increased magenta just a bit for more warmth.
New layer for background behind the kids; filled with light brown then added a radial gradient and some texture and lowered opacity on gradient layer to 50%.
