This was a fun project to work on. Started by cutting out the hand and used a curves adjmt.Found in my collection of pack rat stuff a water pic and a background.Merged all with a little use of cloning,dodging,burning and bluring.
Not the best,but I thought it's cute.

I think it's clever. I like the idea of catching a handful of pouring water. The whole composition is very artistic as well...gives the feeling that he's in a barren land (yellow with dead tree) dying of thirst when God sends him a gusher from heaven.

Amazing what feelings you can evoke just by combining a few elements that haven't been combined before! That's what makes art fun.

Phyllis is right, you really set a mood with the background and that old tree. Very cool imagery Don and well put together.

Sometimes one of artists goals is trying to evoke feelings and thought in the viewer....
