So · Changed to Grayscale using Channel Mixture · Levels adjustment with overlay. · Ran dust and scratches then masked and painted out faces, goat clothes – subject matter. · Cloned imperfections and used dodge on goat’s legs to highlight. · Softened little girl in black with dodge so she was blended in with other kids. · Added sepia layer to preserve the vintage aura of the picture.

Fine work Margaret,
I like Neat Image but it was useless on this image.
You have done a great job making it look sharper.
Sepia seems right for this photo.

Thanks Matt. I agree about Neat Image - can be very useful but not on this one.
