Pheeeeew! there was some heavy duty cloning and toning here.
The faces were tough going. There wasn’t enough detail in the drivers
face, so I had to draw his eyes, nose and mouth. Hope it looks ok.

In the original photo the car was level but the background
was sloped upwards. So much so that I thought it detracted
from the look of the restoration. Straightening the background
made this more of a reconstruction rather than a restoration.
But I was happy with the look of the straightened background.

This was hard work. I seemed to spend ages cloning, patching and
cutting and pasting. I don’t know how long I spent on this restoration.
But it must have been at least 4 hours.

Matt most awesome job for sure, how do you get the light blotches out. Some of the others weren't very successful but it looks like you got all the blotches out.
