I did this photo over a two day span,Ill try to get all the steps listed
Duplicated layer, cropped.
played with levels, brightness, contrast, color ....
went in cleaned face up a bit, Gave skin more natural tone with Replace color tool, Did this with the background as well,
Whitened Eyes, Adjusted color of them Used Burn tool around them.
Burned around face to give depth as well as some of the Foliage in the background.
Dodged the White part of the shirt and Burned the Red
Sharpened
I think that is it.

I like how you have restored the color. On my monitor her skin tone seem a little red and saturated, but that may not be what others see. Nice work.
