There haven’t been many new challenges lately.
Caitlin’s work on this old challenge inspired me to try it.
I hate Moiré. I replaced the blue channel with the green.
And cloned out most of the most obvious Moiré and damage.
Neat Image reduced a lot of grain.
I tried to lighten the Wedding guests.
This was a helluva tough job. They were a dark grainy mess.
I couldn’t get much accurate detail. I tried to clone and
smear some facial features. It was the best I could do.
Has anyone had a good look at the children? I count six.
Every one of them is slouching or falling out of their seats with boredom.
Where is Super Nanny and her famous Naughty Seat?
Why the Frame? Errr…. I’m not sure.
A frame is hardly a part of restoration or retouching.
But I think it looks ok here. Hope other members don’t mind it.

You did a great job bringing out the color and detail, and (how funny) the bored children.
Very nice work, Matt.

As always Matt, great job. The Moire is greatly reduced and the background is great given the poor quality to begin with. As for the squirmy kids, I guess kids and sitting still are(is) an oxymoron.
Nice work - Margaret.

Thanks for the comments Cathy and Margaret,
I missed some Moiré pattern in the lower shadow area.
It wasn’t too obtrusive so I didn’t worry about it.
Trying to bring the wedding guest’s out of the shadows was murder.

A fine restore Matt. You pulled out an awesome amount of detail from this one. Great job.
